Collins & Arnold served as the general contractor for the Kroger Marketplace in Athens, Georgia – a 92,000 square foot ground-up retail development that anchors a major commercial corridor in one of Georgia’s fastest-growing markets.

The project involved full site work including grading, utilities, and storm water management, followed by structural steel erection, masonry, roofing, and complete interior build-out. Collins & Arnold self-performed the concrete flatwork, allowing tighter control over schedule and quality throughout the foundation and slab phases.

The store opened on schedule and has become a community anchor for the Northeast Athens area, serving thousands of customers weekly since its opening.
